The Student Delegation is the group of class delegates of all the courses of all the degrees that are taught in our Faculty

Being a delegate means being the direct contact between the whole class and the teacher(s), in this way your role is key when coordinating class or internship hours if any modification is necessary, solving any problem that may arise in any subject, etc. In short, take a little more responsibility than another student and thereby make it easier for the entire course to develop as well as possible in your course, that is the importance of a delegate. In the delegation there is a Board of Directors in which there is a president, a vice president, a secretary and two treasurers, these people are responsible for coordinating the delegates and the courses within the delegation. Apart from the Board of Directors there are also class delegates, there are two delegates per class.

We will be happy to have you! To be a class delegate you have to present your candidacy at the beginning of the course, which is the time when the elections are made. You have a class delegate, once your candidacy is presented you have to be elected in class by voting and that's it!

Personal driver, millionaire salary, red carpet when entering the classrooms, are some of the advantages of being a delegate, well, in reality we prefer to give up all that and keep two much more important things:
-Help the functioning of the faculty during your time through it, thus contribute your grain of sand and thereby facilitate the course for both your classmates and the teachers.
-Gain an experience about the internal functioning of the University, understanding its internal organizational chart and the functioning of the university bodies and the faculty itself.

Either because you have not been elected in the delegate elections or because that is not the role you want to play, you can continue to be part of the Faculty as a student representative on the Faculty Board, help in the coordination and operation of our sectoral AEBE (Association of Biology Students of Spain), etc. contact us and we will inform you of all the options.
