DEADLINES OF INTEREST FOR BIOLOGY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY DEGREES

By means of a request addressed to Mr. Dean.

 

-EXTRAORDINARY ENROLLMENT EXTENSION PERIOD FOR SECOND SEMESTER COURSES

January 29 to February 2, 2024
It must be submitted to the Secretary’s Office of the Faculty.
No online self-enrollment procedure will be available.
Payment in installments will not be accepted.

 

-ADVANCEMENT OF THE EVALUATION TESTS DUE TO THE COMPLETION OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

Those students who have enrolled in repeated and pending to finish their studies a maximum of 5% of the ECTS of their degree plus the Final Degree Project may request the advance of the evaluation tests.

Students may request the Dean to advance the convocation at the time of registration.

Tests for first semester subjects will take place during the month of December and for second semester subjects during the month of January.

 

-COMPENSATION TRIBUNAL

APPLICATION DEADLINES FOR THE COMPENSATION COURT (ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024)

– FROM FEBRUARY 5 TO 9, 2024
(Students who choose to apply for the Compensation Court will not be able to sit for the extraordinary exam of the first semester course).

– FROM JULY 1 TO JULY 5, 2024
(Students who choose to apply for the Court of Compensation will not be able to sit for the extraordinary convocation of the annual or second semester subject).

– REQUIREMENTS:
Have completed and passed at USAL at least 60% of the ECTS of the degree.
The subject for which compensation is requested must be the only one pending, excluding the Practicum, the External Internships or the Tutored Internships as well as the TFG or TFM, and must not exceed 12 ECTS in the case of a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 ECTS in the case of a Master’s Degree.
Having accumulated at least two failing grades in the subject in question in two different courses.
At the time of requesting the compensation, the student must be enrolled and entitled to be evaluated in the subject to be compensated.
The Compensation Tribunal has not previously issued a decision on the same application.
